What could be more eco-friendly than tableware that fell down from the tree? Our natural palm leaf plates are made using palm leaves gathered in the forests of India. People often mistakenly call these products bamboo plates, even though bamboo has no part in the production process.
Fallen leaves are gathered, soaked in spring water, heat-pressed into shape, and then dried. There are no coatings, no additives, and no chemicals – just natural leaves.
Fallen leaves are a compostable, sustainable, easily renewable material, and producing palm leaf plates provides work for the social enterprises in rural India. Most of the production units are “micro” farms and are often family-run.
We sell palm leaf plates under our own brand, but we also provide our customers with a “Private Label” option
